One Local Store Believes in Living Better with Beer!

Statesman humor writer John Kelso hits the nail right on the head in a recent post to Kelso's Cranky Corner that beer in a south Austin grocery store is at home in its new location: the health isle.
“Beer Has Moved To The Healthy Living Dept.,” the sign says. On the sign is an arrow pointing toward where the beer has been relocated. It’s critical in a South Austin grocery for people to be able to find the beer. Otherwise you have the potential for marching in the streets.
The article is a perfect satire of the importance Austinites place in beer availability.  Afterall, whether the tasty beverage is for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, one thing's for sure, we sure as heck want to be able to find it.

Go on, head on over to the Statesman's web site and read the funny suds tale for yourself.  And don't forget to grab a cold one!
