Bill White Supporters Drown Out Perry Spokesperson

Rick Perry spokesperson Mark Miner staged what was to be a last-minute press availability in front of Bill White's Austin headquarters today, only to be greeted with a throng of Bill White's supporters holding signs and chanting loud enough to keep Miner from being heard by reporters in attendance, including the Texas Tribune's Elise Hu, above.

Miner showed up with a generator in order to call attention to White's ties to a company he charged with providing generators in Houston in the wake of Hurricane Ike. White says he did not invest in the company, BTEC, until about a year after the storm hit.
