APD Seeks Suspects in Jewelry Thefts

Austin Police are looking for three suspects involved in a jewelry theft that happened Friday, February 19 in North Austin.

According to police, the robbery happened at Russell Korman Jewelers at 3806 N. Lamar Blvd.  The three men went into the store at about 10:40 a.m., smashed into the glass display cases and made off with what police detectives are calling "a large number of high-dollar watches."

The suspects are described as:
  • Suspect 1:
    • Black male, light skinned
    • 5’7”, 245 pounds, heavy build
    • Black stocking over face, hat
    • Gray ski jacket with black portions
    • Dark pants, brown boxer shorts
    • Dark gloves
    • Carrying a black crowbar
  • Suspect 2:
    • Hispanic male
    • 5’10”, 140-200 pounds, thin build
    • Hat
    • Black gloves and a hammer
  • Suspect 3:
    • Black male
    • Dark clothing, white Halloween mask
    • Black gloves
    • Carrying a bag
