The Temperatures Plunge

From the National Weather Service

Snow is likely across the Hill Country Friday, with a hard freeze expected late
Friday night into Saturday. An disturbance in the atmosphere will create
precipitation that will be more widespread during the day on Friday. The NWS
reports that cold air will push its way into the area enough for the rain to turn
to snow. The snow will end Friday evening. Expect snowfall amounts to range
from .5 to 1 inch, with 2 inches expected in the northern portions of the Hill
Country. But expect the freezing conditions to stay around during the first half
of the weekend.
