Thank you for all your prayers, support, emails, and well-wishes. My fan has been returned, in safe condition, to my desk. As we speak, it's on the LOW setting and providing quality cooling to my delight, comfort and satisfaction.
On another note, I also got an update about my schedule. I had requested Saturdays and Sundays off. Looks like I will be getting Sundays and Mondays off, instead of both weekend days. This does eliminate one problem: if there's such a family event that Sarah and I would like to attend, or going to church, or not worrying about getting to bed because I have to get up, or if we want to take the dogs somewhere... we can/don't have to. On the other hand, it creates a problem in that now I believe I'm going to have to turn down the wedding photographer job. I'm very disappointed about that, but maybe there's something on Sunday they'll allow me to do. Some weddings are on Sunday. Right now I just don't know...

Hey, it's a step in the right direction. Even one day a week that we get to spend together is an improvement!!
Congratulations on at least getting one day of together. Now you can attend church together. :)
