Unfocused-ness

I like my blog here and I kind of like the format, but I am having a horrible time trying to decide how to continue it and where to go from here.

My wife thinks I need a focus for a podcast. Right now it's general interest and there's nothing really motivating me to keep things going. I got back on my podcasting for a couple of weeks but then I got this great idea to start my beer blog and website that I completely left Speak behind. Besides, a friend at work told me Speak really doesn't 'speak' to him; he said it's not very roll off the tongue kind of title.

What's my focus? Parenting? Dogs? Life is too broad, apparently. But "This American Life" produced by NPR totally gets away with it.

I wish for a decision soon so I can get on with my podcast, or come to the realization that maybe I should just forget about blogging and take up knitting, as my wife has suggested I do on numerous occasions.
