APD Seeks More Victims in Alleged Elderly Theft Case

From the Austin Police Department:

On April 9, 2009, a theft case was reported to the Austin Police department by an 84 year old elderly victim. The victim hired Enrique Mojica to paint his house and gave Mojica $1,800 in the form of checks for materials to paint the house. The work was never completed and despite numerous attempts to get his money back Mojica never returned the money he took from the elderly victim.

Mojica has been indicted for Theft from Elderly, a 3rd Degree Felony but the warrant for Mojica is still outstanding.

Detectives believe that there may be other (elderly) victims. If you are a victim please make a police report by calling 512-974-5750.
