Former Top Lawyer Setting up Shop in Austin?

The Austin Examiner reports former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has listed an office in Austin with the Texas Bar Association.  The Examiner, which said the Dallas Morning News investigated the move, showed Gonzales registered at an office at 919 Congress Avenue.

But, according to the article, Kerry Cammack, said he is leasing space of his law firm to Gonzales.  Cammack told the Examiner he is not joining the firm, nor is working for it.

“He’s an old an old, dear friend,” Cammack said to the Dallas Morning News.  “He maintains an office here. We’re proud and happy for him to do that, but he's not a part of my firm and he’s not affiliated with the firm.”
