It's no fish story - a huge bass caught in Lake LBJ over the weekend set a new record.
Lloyd Ward of Horseshoe Bay pulled a 13.7 pound bass from the lake on Sunday, breaking the record of 12.55 pounds that has stood since 1989.
The big bass also qualifies for the Toyota ShareLunker program, which encourages anglers who catch fish of 13 pounds or larger to lend them to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for spawning, in order to keep Texas' lakes stocked with large fish for future generations.
