Website Aims to Help Joseph Stack's Widow

Neighbors have set up a website to solicit donations to help Sheryl Stack, the wife of the man who investigators say flew his plane into the Echelon Building nearly a week ago.  Both Joseph Stack and an IRS manager, Vernon Hunter, were killed in the crash.

Joseph Stack first set his house on fire, according to investigators, leaving his wife and her daughter without a place to live.

Sheryl Stack left a message on the website earlier today:

“It means a lot to us that we have been surrounded by such love and support by friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers. In the midst of our heartbreak, it is heartwarming to know that others care. Your gift is greatly appreciated, and we are uplifted by your support. Thank you.”

On Wednesday, the family of Vernon Hunter, filed a wrongful death lawsuit naming Sheryl.  The family's lawyer says the underlying purpose of the lawsuit is a temporary restraining order in order to prevent the release of Hunter's autopsy results.
