Big Benefit at Austin Music Hall for Haiti Relief Efforts
Since the earthquake that rocked the country of Haiti, the world has responded in a big way. In Austin, that's no different. From missionaries to musicians, supplies and money have been collected.
On Sunday, January 24, several Austin musicians will hold a benefit concert at Austin Music Hall to raise more, much needed, money for relief efforts in the devastated areas of Haiti. Check out a complete line up, and also see how else you can help.
Then on Sunday, January 31, Hope for Haiti will get underway at Antone's. Doors @ 6, show @7 with Love at War, Johnny Goudie, Susanne Choffel, Nina Sighn, Kathy Valentine, Savanna Welch and more!
In this audio podcast of The Austin Citysphere, hear from musician Patricia Vonne, who will be playing in the Sunday concert and why she believes music is all about healing.
