Dancers Put on Show for Travelers

It's a tradition each year that the Judy Lee dancers get together at Austin's airport to make travelers feel a little better about their hectic holiday plans going to and from the capital city. The women are all over 50, but bring the energy and attitudes of teenagers to the stage.

The group's performed at ABIA for 12 years. Sylvia, one of the dancers, has been with the group half that time. She says she enjoys the social aspect of the dancing group, but she also loves performing for passengers at Christmas. One traveler, Hank, said the group made his day. "They're amazing," he added.

The Judy Lee dancers perform for about half an hour with full audience participation, costume changes amont the dancers, and a variety of songs and dance styles.
