I'm never disappointed with the Wurstkabob...a sampling of 5 different sausages on a stick: regular, cheese, breakfast sausage tasting (not sure what it actually is), jalapeno, and apple. Then you wash it down with a tasty bun & of course your beer. Yumm. The event proved to be fun...although I did miss Todd & Rachel. John & Mica met Sarah & me, with AJ & Bennett and a couple of people I didn't know, nor did I get to know because they never said hello to me...and I didn't bother with a hello to them either. But I did enjoy meeting Bennett's girlfriend. She was nice.
But I did laugh, I did enjoy getting to hang out with my dearest friends just like old times, and I did enjoy sitting right beside my wife and feeling close to her... I guess this was my first Wurst as a married man.
Today it's cloudy and a bit cool out, and I keep tossing around this potential opportunity in Sherman. Today I want to go. But I haven't made a list yet, so I think I'm just going to rattle off what comes to mind for a few minutes.
PROS
New career track-anchoring
Possibility of buying a house
Family in town
Janette nearby/live with us on weekends when she comes back to TX
Puppies would have a yard
I would get to help with leadership @ station
Less stress
Weekends off
CONS
Leaving my family
Miss my big city hometown
Giving up big market tools/resources/my unique position
Cost of moving
Morning show hours-going to bed early to get up early
So those are some of the things swimming around in my head. I guess the real test comes if I actually get the job!
