Change in the air?

Ahhhhh.... back on a normal schedule. I had two days off -- in a row. Mike's wedding has come and gone (it was so nice). It was such an awesome thing to be involved in. Right now I'm working. Well, I'm at work at least. Trying to get this day started.

One of our reporters is leaving, which brings up some interesting possible changes -- one of which is me moving from my current Wednesday-Sunday routine to a Monday-Friday one. Man that would be exciting. I brought the idea up this morning with both my news director and assistant news director. My ND said he hadn't even thought about it yet, but that would be something to consider. Karin seemed positive about it, as well. The new reporter coming in could do the weekends. The smart choice is for me to move to weekdays because they're really wasting me as a resource having me work with a photographer on Saturday and Sunday. Why not place someone who's not as verstaile as me on the weekend to work with a photographer? I'm free to do my own thing -- so have me do that five days a week Mon-Fri because I CAN do everything. That's a smarter choice as far as a resource goes.

Any more takers for the photo contest below? I'll let it ride a couple more days before telling the story behind it. I got some good responses. So thank you to those who have voted. I believe some people who remain hidden for now should vote, and you know who you are, because just reading this blog is not being a contributor. That's all for my speech for now.

I'm really out of things to say, so I guess that's a good time to close this up. I think the next post will have some intelligent things to say.
